About Us

Moved by Love

Moved By Love, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt, organization that offers short term financial assistance in the form of grants through its Love Handlers Program to Family Caregivers. These grants can be used by Family Caregivers who are facing economic and practical challenges in managing their lives and households while at the same time doing the important and often thankless job of being a Caregiver. Dr. Desirae Wells, Founder and Executive Director of Moved By Love, Inc., has experienced being a Family Caregiver and understands the challenges of providing for family members suffering from long-term illnesses. Dr. Wells knows the pain and hardships families go through in caring for their family members and this organization is a way to give back to those people who are there when we most need them.
